Our inspectors and technicians are highly qualified to perform all aspects of construction inspection and materials testing. They are experienced, cross-trained, and hold multiple certifications including CTOP, FDOT, LADBS, ICC, ACI, AWS, ASNT, OSPHD, DSA, NICET, and more than 500 individual Caltrans certifications, which allows them to inspect diverse elements of construction projects simultaneously. This enables us to provide inspection services for projects in a highly efficient manner, reducing the overall cost of inspection and testing programs for our clients. In addition, TQF employees are specialized inspectors trained and experienced in the inspection of specific elements required to complete bridge and roadway projects in accordance with FDOT, Caltrans standards. Our inspectors have extensive experience and are approved by Caltrans as structure, civil, and roadway inspectors.

Description of Service

  • Review plans to ensure they meet building codes, local ordinances, zoning regulations, and contract specifications
  • Special Inspections and testing of concrete, steel, masonry, fireproofing, shotcrete, reinforcement, etc.
  • Inspecting mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other systems to ensure that they meet code.
  • Verifying alignment level and elevation of structures to ensure the building meets specifications.
  • Issuing violation notices and stop-work orders until the building is compliant.
  • Keeping daily logs, including photographs taken during inspections.
