Project Summary
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) recently opened the new Union Station Patsaouras Bus Plaza. This transit busway station, serving the J Line (Metro Silver Line) and other buses on the El Monte Busway, improves access to Los Angeles Union Station for riders. Designed to streamline traffic and minimize delays, the station allows buses to serve Union Station in both directions, eliminating the need for a long walk across the station. The project was completed in 2023, with TQF providing quality control management, materials testing, and inspection services.
