Project Summary
The focus of airfield improvements will be on enhancing safety by improving runway exits, managing airfield operations by extending Taxiway D west, and providing better access to new concourse and terminal facilities through improvements to Taxiways C and D. These improvements will involve several key actions: extending Taxiway D west to ADG VI standards to enhance aircraft taxiing operations and meet FAA requirements; reconfiguring taxiways and runways to align with current design standards set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); enhancing pilot visibility by improving runway exit configurations; and upgrading the east ends of Taxiways C and D for better access to the new terminal and concourse facilities.
