Project Summary

The Van Nuys Airport is one of the busiest general aviation airports that included the rehabilitation of the 8,000-foot taxiway. Phase two involves comprehensive improvements to Taxiway A. This vital transportation corridor serves as a key component of the airport’s infrastructure, facilitating the safe and efficient movement of aircraft and passengers. The project scope includes the replacement of the taxiway pavement, shoulder pavement, and lighting system, as well as modifications to airfield signs and various grading and drainage improvements in the vicinity of Taxiways M and P. These upgrades will enhance the overall functionality and safety of the taxiway, ensuring that it can meet the growing demands of the airport’s operations.
