The project involves upgrading Taxiway L, the primary taxiway for departing commercial aircraft, by replacing its worn asphalt with concrete pavement expected to last 40 years. Key tasks include removing the existing asphalt, performing necessary excavation and leveling, compacting the soil, enhancing storm drainage systems, installing pavement markings, adding taxiway edge lighting and signs, and conducting hydroseeding.
